About Us

Eesti Foorum Dialog Center was established by Hizmet volunteers in Estonia.

Inspired by the work of Mr. Fethullah Gulen, Eesti Foorum Dialog Center is an umbrella non-profit organization serving as a voice for civic, cultural, and service organizations around Estonia dedicated to promoting community service, education, and interfaith dialogue.

The dialog center and member organizations are founded by individuals participating in the Hizmet social initiative. The dialog center works with people and organizations of all backgrounds and faiths to promote greater understanding, cooperate on meaningful projects, and build stronger bonds.

Beginning as a grassroots community in Turkey in the 1970s, Hizmet today is a transnational social initiative that advocates for the ideals of human rights, equal opportunity, democracy, non-violence, and the emphatic acceptance of religious and cultural diversity.

Hizmet’s culturally and religiously diverse supporters are inspired by the life and works of Fethullah Gulen, one of the world’s most influential Muslim figures for his decades-long commitment to interfaith tolerance and altruism.

Hizmet participants bring to life these ideas by promoting philanthropy and community service, investing in education to cultivate virtuous individuals, and promoting intercultural and interfaith dialogue for peaceful coexistence.
